MESSIANIC TEXT #a:Today, I consecrate myself to you as my spouse according to the Torah of YHVH and the traditions of our people. I shall treasure and nourish you as a child of the Most High Elohim, and follow the example of our forefathers, the Children of Israel who have devoted themselves to their spouses with love and integrity throughout the generations. I will stand by you always.

I will continue to share in your dreams, delight in your joys, and comfort you in your sorrows. I will be your confidant, your counsel, your friend, and your lover. When you are not within my sight, you will be within my thoughts. May we strive to bring to fruition both our shared and individual hopes and dreams. Let us build our home and life on a foundation of trust, respect, laying our lives down for each other, obedience to the Word of Elohim and faith in Yeshua the Messiah.

You are my life, you are my dreams, you are my joy, you are my love, you are my everything. At this moment, you are all that I know and all that I see. Where you go, I will go; where you live, I will live; your people will be my people; and your Elohim will be my Elohim. Therefore, set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death.

As we grow old together and our love matures, may we hold on to the passion and affection for each other that we feel today looking back to the wisdom of the Torah to guide us spiritually, and always keeping our eyes on Yeshua, our Messiah ,who will lead us hand-in-hand into this eternal kingdom. And, most of all, we will endeavor to follow Elohim's Word and teach our children to do the same.
